  • RANT: Save Lives Look Twice my ass - May 27th, 2009

    OK so we already know I have a lot to say about traffic, especially having learned to drive in NY and then having driven everywhere else. Plain and simple of it is that everywhere people suck as drivers. Now by no means am I trying to say I’m the best driver ever, but there are millions of bad drivers and I am not one of them. I’m talking about the ones that have no defensive driving skills, no regard for anyone else but them and their driving goal, UGH! 

    With that said recently I have begun to really get a bit pissy about one kind of driver and in the same respect one particular driving campaign. WHO and WHAT you may ask? I’m tired of the SAVE A LIFE LOOK TWICE stickers and well Motorcycle drivers. Read the rest of this entry »

  • Top 3 Reasons I’m Beginning to Understand Road Rage - April 1st, 2009

     

    On an average day I have about a 20 to 30 mile drive from home to work and back. Between point A and point B I am inundated with the marvelous driving skills of the people around. Everyday I get closer and closer to understanding (not agreeing with) those unfortunate people who cannot control their anger while behind the wheel. So here are my Top 3 Gripes of why I could be one (not really)  f’up driver away from a road rage attack.

  • Westboro Baptist Church - ugh - February 28th, 2009

    For those of you that don’t know I once proudly served my country in the US Navy, but even if I hadn’t the people in the Westboro Baptist Church would still irritate me. The Westboro Baptist Church is a church headed by Fred Phelps and based in Topeka, Kansas, United States. The organization travels nationally to picket the funerals of gay victims of murder, gay-bashing or death related to AIDS, as well as other events related or peripherally related to gay people.
